- What is brink?
- brink is a participation platform that connects people, clubs and businesses with verified environmental restoration projects in Scotland.
- Is brink a charity?
- No. brink is a platform. Donations are processed by regulated payment partners and paid directly to the delivery organisation behind each project.
- Where does my money go?
- 100% of donations go to the delivery partner, minus standard payment processor fees (typically 1.4–2.9%). brink does not take a cut of donations.
- How are projects chosen?
- Projects are nominated by delivery partners and assessed against governance, ecological merit, community consent and measurability before going live.
- Can I start my own fundraiser?
- Yes. Pick a project, set a challenge, and we'll help you launch a public fundraising page on a regulated platform of your choice.
- Can my business become a partner?
- Yes. Businesses can route a percentage of sales, a per-unit donation or staff fundraising activity to a project. Get in touch at partners@brink.scot.
- Do you operate outside Scotland?
- Not yet. We are starting in Scotland because the restoration opportunity here is internationally significant and culturally distinctive.
- How do I know the impact is real?
- Every project publishes regular updates with measurable outcomes — hectares restored, trees planted, species recorded. See the Impact page for live totals.
